I would wave if I ever got to see one. I've been working here in Victorville, CA for months and never see any other 911. I seriously think I have the only one in the area because it garners both good and bad attention. I got excited once when I saw a yellow GT3 with SCCA stickers and we shared waves, but I think he was just passing through. I do see a couple Cayennes but they are always driven by soccer-moms paying more attention to the kids in the backseat or talking on their cellphone and I don't bother waving to them.

Whoever who has been nanny enough to buy a 991, doesn't deserve a wave... 991 is soccer mom's 911, the same category as Cayenne who doesn't deserve a wave!

So far the only place I've seen a 991 around here so far is a gaggle of them sitting forlornly on the dealer's lot, but if I ever do see one on the road I would certainly wave. Whether or not the owner waves back is another thing. First there's the matter of if he'll realise my 997 is a Porsche since it only says 'Carrera' on the deck. Then the matter of whether he deigns to acknowledge someone he considers beneath his newfound status...all this assuming he's even aware of anything outside his cushy Panamera-esque cocoon.

Absolutely I wave or flash my lights. Just because there has been some internal bickering amoung Porsche nuts doesn't mean I don't like the new car. I do. I just prefer my GTS.

They are still clearly without question part of the Porsche fold.

Saw a 991 S Cab on the road today. Looked great with the top down. Had temp tags so the guy must have just bought it. I didn't wave.....but I was in the M3.
