Default coolant level littel low

My 2011 C2 has little lower coolant level then min bar. No light on the dash.

Should I go to dealer and ask them to top off? Is this covered by new car warranty? I bought the car as new on 2010 July.

you can top off with a little distilled water in a pinch.

In my car, if I loosen the cap, pressure is released and the level rises.

Buy a gallon of antifreeze from the dealer (it's always good to have a supply of this on hand).

To create a coolant mixture in the proper proper proportions, use a 50%/50% blending of antifreeze and distilled water. I'd guess that you need at least one cup of distilled water and one cup of antifreeze added to the expansion tank to get the level up above the "minimum" mark.

Good luck.

It's a big tank - you just can't see the entire tank.
Coolant approx. 7.63 - 8.32 U.S. gallons / 28.9 - 31.5 liters

Default I added 2 little cups of distilled water

I called dealer today and they said that I can add just liitle water.

As other member said, I added little bit of distilled water.

Now it is above min line. I will check later if it drops again.

Then I will visit to dealer.

Thanks for the replies.

If you experience continued drops in the level suspect the cap. They appear to have a short lifespan.
