Yes, I've had the jammer go off a few times. I do feel a bit naked when I'm using the V1. The V1 will just tell you that you got nailed. It seems the local popo & HP are using laser more & more.

Depending on where you live and the devices the local/state PD utilize, a V1 is a good start, but far from adequate.
As others may have mentioned previously, look into the Laser Interceptor (V. 8.9). I recently participated in a testing day, pitting most of the effective laser guns used by today's LEO's.
The combination of the 997's low profile and low reflective surfaces make it an ideal vehicle to use these 'parking' devices. I had several JTG's and punch-throughs with adequate distance to react to the threat.
