Maybe those removeable plugs are a comprimise between customers that want lightened/cored lug bolts and customers who want "solid" lug bolts. If you want the lightened version you just leave the plug out. Clearly they're just cosmetic if you can remove them.

Amazing, the bolts are "beautiful", and, I LOVE the way they cleaned up your wheels (ha)

Now we know why they rusted. That's way too many miles in such a short period of time.

Real pretty, would look good with full color crest caps as well.
Don't forget your Griots lug nut cleaner brush, I just bought 2 for my cars.

No one in his right mind should replace perfectly good OEM wheel bolts, with unknown-quality, China-sourced bling.

No one has ever accused me of being in my right mind. Hell, I bought a Porsche, didn't I?

I appreciate your comments Tony, you certainly are entitled to your opinion. I don't agree with it but that's OK too.

Thank you. I have considered getting a set of colored wheel crests. However, these look good with the Meteor Gray paint, so much so that I have also considered getting a silver hood crest to compliment the wheel crests. Either way, I guess I should make sure that the "carpet matches the draperies."

I totally agree with this. Why mess with one of the most important fasteners on the car. Especially for something few people care about...

I wouldn't trust aftermarket, china made, fasteners... YMMV.

Do we even know where the OEM lug bolts are sourced?
