Did some paint finishing work and put on Armor Shield IX. Im anxious to see how well the ceramic coating will work. Still haven't taken it out of the garage yet this year. Hoping for a good rain here soon to clean the roads from the winter slop.

I’m on Eibach pro-kits which is similar to SPASM hieght. Alignment camber is -1.5 degrees f/r. They don’t poke out but are fairly flush.

Lightbulb Windshield washer pump broken. Easy hack.

Windshield washer pump has been broken for a while now on my 997.2 tt and not real interested in paying for a new pump. Not a big issue since I rarely drive in the rain but occasionally might get caught in a summer storm while driving on the weekends. After removing the left front wheel well liner I realized I could just easily disconnect the headlight washer line from its pump (working fine) and connect the windshield washer line to it instead. Both pumps share a reservoir. Now it works great, just need to remember which switch to push which is slightly awkward. Took me 45 minutes.

Getting ready for a wash, but just installed new Aero front bumper w/o headlight washers and plumbed up all of the ductwork (lots of trimming) for the GT3 radiator I installed a while back. I had the upper duct-work, but needed the front radiator to bumper shroud--found on ebay a few weeks back and voila...

Sure needs a wash
Also changed back to stock engine mounts and brand new, Bosch, fuel injectors.

Default Got My 4S Cab Out of Winter Hibernation!

With warmer temps and a sunny weekend finally here in Chicagoland, I pulled my 4S Cab out of winter storage and drove it like I stole it for the first time in 4 months

Where did you get the wheel and did you swap over your existing airbag? Any issues?

I sourced the wheel on eBay from a guy in Germany that remanufactures OEM wheels. From what I've seen on threads here, it was price competitive with Dallas Custom wheels, but I like the flat bottom vs. having my base wheel re-wrapped. I reused my existing airbag and wheel trim - easy swap.

Issues - not really, everything fit perfectly. Just be careful/gentle. I broke the retaining clip on the airbag wiring harness so threw the airbag light.

New wiring harness and reset the airbag fault and good to go.

Instead of cleaning, I got a little dirty. A few puddles and a little dirt on the way up the canyon with a few stops for photos.

I like and just installed the Alpine ILX-207, will need a NAV-TV210 if you have a Bose system. Good luck! Easy mod.

Got back from a weekend trip to Vegas. Got to open her up a few times on the way there and back... amazing how far back you have to let up on the throttle and coast if you're catching up to someone just driving the speed limit.

She was totally covered in bugs so had to wash and wax her upon getting back.
