The weather was warm this weekend which made for the perfect time for the annual oil change. She had 3042 miles on this run. I put in Amsoil euro 5w-40 oil (8.5) and ox 128/1 D Mahle Oil Filter.

Filter was uneventful.

Then I put on some Adaptec Design X 7mm front spacer with extended lug bolts. Very impressed with their quality and highly recommend. Plus manufactured in the USA.

Is that just glare on the lower portion of the filter?

It was unseasonably warm yesterday. Low 80s. So, I got up early, got my work done, moved a meeting and then took a spin in the country with my two favorite blondes (wife and pooch) and the 997.2 S. Only 3 "Yes, Dear" moments in 90 miles. A new world record!

Are you speeding? Yes, Dear
Can we turn on the AC? Yes, Dear
Are you still speeding? Yes, Dear

You haven't learned the "define speeding" retort?

Speeding is defined by going faster than the cars capabilities. With that definition, rarely are any of us ever truly speeding.

When I got my car last year the wife kept getting on my case for driving Spiritly. She also was telling me to turn down the music or change my channels. Both are big no no’s.

We had a talk that when in my car she does not say anything about my driving and does not touch my radio. She has more tickets and accidents than me by far. Last ticket was in 1997 and I have never had an accident. Basically I said don’t come with me unless you can abide by the rules. She has never said anything since and all has been well. LOL

Do you know if these are 12" or 11" wide rear Ultraleggaras? I'm considering buying some but can't gauge how concave the 11" wide 40mm offset ones are.

New steering wheel re-do, thicker, thumb rests, Napa leather, perforated sides. Nice improvement as many of you had suggested. Really happy with Royal Steering Wheels in U.K.

Installed new sunroof motor. About a 30 min job going at it leisurely. Hardest part was reattaching the wiring harness, as there’s no extra slack and not much room for fingers. Also replaced the switch although it was working ok I figured it was 14 yrs old so may as well change it out while I had the overhead console down. Also applied a minusucule film of Mercedes silicone sunroof lube to the cables.

Finally finished refurbishing and protecting my wheels. Had them sand-blasted and powder-coated with high-gloss clear over baltic silver. Then, I applied four coats of Gyeon Q2 Rim ceramic coating and topped that with Wolfgang Uber SiO2 coating. Looking forward to spring so I can remount them with the new titanium lug bolts, drop the top, and drive. It's still a little too cold and icy to be out in this Porsche here in Wisconsin.
