Every non-S 997 I've seen sit mighty tall off the ground. Look at the two pictures below of a base 997 and a Prius. The Prius has quiet a bit less wheel gap than the 997 and I doubt the Prius is lowered.

Yeah that cabriolet 997 looks like a 4 X 4. Definitely needs to be lowered for a better stance.

Mostly depends on whether you remove the mufflers and take them to an exhaust shop or you pay a shop to remove and reinstall them as part of the job.

If if you remove them yourself, any competent shop should be able to do it for $100 or less.

No pics yet but from my 997.1 S to my 997.2 4S I swapped over my red seat belts, front extended dash leather, X97 shift **** and E brake, basalt black center console, Das shield for the hood.

This week will be a good delivery and install day. Have some suncoast parts including full LED interior, LED rear license plate lights, leather key surround, iPod connection, rear PORSCHE similar to 991 and the first aid kid. Switch for trunk broken and will be swapped.

Next may work with classic 9 or exclusive option for center console, overhead light assembly, steering column surround, fuse box.

Purchased these for my nieces, whose father is borrowing my older car until my brother picks it up in 2 weeks:

Slave cylinder failed today :-(

Will likely get a new clutch as well. I have 117,xxx on the original clutch. Hope I don't need a new flywheel.

I had mine slave replaced as part of the clutch job. Yes, that slave cylinder is prone to leak and crack because its made of xxxx, which they have a fancy name for it, but I call it plastic.
