Wrapped my driver side door sill as it was very scratched up. I chose wrap over paint because I had extra 3M 1080 M12 Matte Black vinyl laying around and it was an exact match to the existing plastic. Since you can take out the switches the wrap is about as basic as you can get.
End result is you can't tell it is wrapped and it looks much better than before.

Unplugged the PSE connector in my '07 C2 and zip-tied it so it stays safe. Now I can enjoy that Flat Six Symphony at every speed! No more cutout between 25-45 MPH. Glorious.
