Default Detailed my interior

I got bored this afternoon so I thought of cleaning the interior. So far the dash and door cards are done. I will have to spend more time on the seats and apply conditioner after. Doesn't look like it has 100k on the odo. Looks and smells fresh now i think😂

Got tired of it being cooped up in the garage due to the rain we're having every day, so took her for a drive when the sky looked good

.... and got stuck in the rain of course. At least the Opti-Seal paint sealant still appears to be working well

Put the top down and then drove slowly through the sales lots of all of the dealers that didn't meet my offers.

They probably didn't even notice me.

It's not like car salesmen to peer longingly and hopefully out the windows. (grin)

Default Installed quad tips and skene front license plate

Finally figured out how to straighten and align the quad tips. Attempted it last week but pulled if off since it wasnt aligning well.

I frequent downtown SF and I don't have a front plate. I just ordered a personalized plate and while waiting for it. I mocked up the Skene no front bumper drill mounting brackets. I just need to paint it black.

Mounted and balanced 4 new Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires on my '12 Carrera S. The car's original Bridgestone RE050A's came off, and good riddance to them! Those original "N spec" tires were terribly LOUD and rode rough.

The new Michelin's are great. Much quieter, smoother ride and great stick! I am pleased.

I just have the Pilot Super Sports (about 1k miles on them). How much improved are the 4S's?.. ride, performance and wear?

The Pilot Sport 4S feel like they have better dry grip; have not driven them in the rain yet. The ride quality and noise are subjective, but IMHO the ride quality it a bit improved over the Pilot Sports. Noise is about the same.

My reference vehicle is a Boxster that had Pilot Sports mounted. So, take the ride quality and noise comments with a "grain of salt". The grip is definitely better.
