Finished painting my Getty Ducktail with Deltron PPG base and clear coat. Still need to do a final cut and polish. Looking forward to getting it on the car.

Looks great and really good color match from this angle, but the gap between the decklid and bumper is too wide.
You need to lower the latch attached to the inside of the bumper in order to lower the decklid so it narrows that gap. Easy to do. Two screws to loosen. move the latch down and tighten the screws.

It looks nice, how difficult is it to remove the rear wing? I want to repaint mine, some areas starting to crack.

Removing the engine deck lid is easy. Remove the two bolts on each side of the hinge and disconnect the electrical harness at the large connector at the upper right of the engine bay. Disassembling the engine lid and prepping for paint is where all the work begins.

Nice! thanks, yeah, didn't think it was too difficult, figure I'd asked since you've already done it.

Gundo hack. Finally, after 2 years of ownership. Had Vision Motorsports in Laguna Hills, Ca do it, on the recommendation of a friend. It sounds really good now.

Also, I put in 5mm spacers (ECS tuning) on the rears- I probably could have gone more, but it looks good to me.

Highly recommend pairing the Gundo hack with an x-pipe (Sharkwerks/Fabspeed). Sounds sublime. Best mod I've done.

Thanks, I'll try that.

Second. This combination is incredible. Should almost be mandatory...

My concern is that it might be too loud for a daily driver. The gundo hack sounds great, but is quiet if you're not on the throttle. I leave for work before 6:30 AM every morning and I don't want to annoy the neighbors with my exhaust.

Not at all. I leave at the same time in the morning and have asked my neighbors. They don't even hear me.

The cold start is a bit loud for 20 sec but I just leave the garage shut for that.

Muffler delete. Go loud or go home.
