What did you do to your 997 today?

I dipped and re-dipped mine to Red twice because they turn darker if not cleaned well, but they come off if you clean them too well.
So I tried looking for a proper painted red badge but was surprised that I couldn't find any that is the same size as the original (all the red-painted ones on the web are smaller). So at the end I just removed the original S badge (carefully) and just spray-painted it. LOVE how it turned out.

Had an oil and filter change (every 5-7 k miles). Winter wheels and tires replaced by summer PS2's.
Finally used the "Custom car grill" kit and installed them with the tubing provided. They look good.
Received and installed Magnagrafik carbon stone guards on Arctic Silver cab with black top. Was a bit apprehensive that without black wheels the stone guards would clash. Not the case; to my mind, they complement the car very well.

I had front license plate and frame holes repaired, front bumper cover painted, oil changed and plugs replaced.
Cover, clear sides and gutter bridge ordered.
Color matching Rimowa luggage purchased. Supposedly the Lapis Blue is exclusive to Vegas stores so I had to have it. LOL. Bought my wife matching Kate Spade purse. Don't drink and shop in LV.

The PDK Paddle shift steering wheel is now installed. I LOVE it!
Also...
The previous owner never had the PDK software updates installed so I had my local dealer (Hendrick Porsche) take care of that. The car is much smoother now.

Drove in my first ever track event at VIR today. What a blast! Looking forward to tomorrow. A great time and very humbling at the same time to see guys in Miatas and a Nissan 260z going around the track faster than me. I'm hooked

Thursday, drove my oldest and a friend to Pinnacles National Park to explore Bear Gulch cave.
Friday, washed with ONR, followed by Optimum Instant Detail and Gloss Enhancer.
Saturday, took the boys to music lessons, got groceries, then took the youngest to the park for soccer.
While at the park, my car ran into an old friend.

"Were the stone guards vinyl or magnetic?"
Magnetic. Although the manufacturer recommends application in temp above 60 deg, I put mine on when it was 40. No problems and look very good.

Is it finally spring?
I changed the cabin particle filter and air filters on my 997.2 C4S Cab. The previous owner obviously hadn't done this recently. Plus I installed aluminum sport pedals. It only took me one trip to Home Depot, one trip to the hardware store, one trip to the auto parts store, and one band-aid. Not bad.
I'm having trouble uploading photos. I'll try again later.
