Installed Hawk pads and Zimmerman rotors along with new knockoff wheels and new Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. I had the wheels and tires road force balanced. Here it is on the lift still jacked up in the back. Having a lift in the shop sure makes jobs like this a hell of lot more enjoyable. Haven't had a chance to break in the new pads yet due to the road in front my house being rebuilt. Hate taking new tires on a gravel road.

Up next will be a 991 front spoiler and Fabspeed cold air intake.

Finally decided to tackle the removal of my centerlock wheels for inspection and cleaning. Bought the Precision torque wrench and wow it's nice and surprisingly heavy. For a long time I was sorta intimidated to remove them just because posters talking about the difficulty loosening and then managing to get the proper torque on tighten. Soooo long story short it was a piece of cake, by the time I got to the third one it was old hat! Anyone that is considering doing this, it is easy and very satisfying. It's actually easier than lugs. So once they were all removed I wiped everything down and explored the access to the plugs and coils, again to my surprise should be another doable project. Overall a fun day playing with the car.

Waxed the barrel

Love the EZ-Lift

Put 7mm/15mm spacers on.... and tipped one of my front wheels over on its face while watching it do the slow wobble of death scratching up the front spokes. Guess I have more incentive to get them refinished this winter now. Spacers look good though, if I had the time or patience I would probably put lowering springs on to close the gap in my Targa 4S.... don't want to pay a mechanic $1,000 to do it however.

Took a 2 day trip with a few car buddies to kill bugs on some of CA's best mountain roads. Wound up also killing the Turbo Zed. Great times, poor car is FILTHY. Really glad I installed that wire mesh.

Drove it to a 928 event in the mountains of NC since my 928 isn't running right yet since the engine swap

So awesome. I did Route de Napoleon a couple years ago on an R1200RT. Beautiful photo!

Summer is coming so we decided to tint the windows. Originally we wanted to go 55 all around but decided to go 35 instead. It's a bit darker than I expected but hopefully it'll get lighter when the solutions dry out. Worse cast we'll keep 55 on back three glasses and do 35 on driver/passenger windows.

I think it looks great. No tint I’ve had has lightened, maybe some air pockets vanish but the darkness stays the same.

928’s are super cool, been thinking of getting one. Maybe a project car...
