Made some bypass pipes with obnoxious exhaust tips to run momentarily until its snowed in for the season :) They are fun.....until your ears start bleeding!

Installed a sharkwerks xpipe 2 weeks ago & the exhaust tips have bothered me ever since, got around to polishing them today...P21S is magic, also coated in opti-seal for easier upkeep. Pretty sure it’d never been done before

Just bought it one week ago, so going down my list of items identified in the PPI. During the week I fixed my navi antenna disconnect, swapped out orange side markers for clear, replaced non-working license plate light, replaced tan floor mats with black as rainy season is coming. I would have replaced cabin air filter and serpentine belt but parts delivery was delayed ;-). Ordered new knobs for radio. Also scheduled my Fister exhaust install and plug/coils for later in the month. Today I replaced missing bolt in power steering reservoir bracket and removed the overfilled fluid in it. Washed it. Oh, and drove it every chance I could...

As the winning Prototype cars took the checkered flag, they launched fireworks. The white blob heading down the hill into the final turn is the winning 911 in the GTLM class. I need to take my DSLR with me next year as this would have been a great shot if done with something other than my cell phone camera.

Sounds like a great trip!

It is the 3.8 Carrera S and it must be the sum of all parts added. I tried to get the car on the dyno before and after but wasn't able to so I only got the after. I disagree with your thoughts on the exhaust not creating more hp. Anytime you remove restrictions (intake/exhaust) and allow the engine to breathe more freely you will unlock hp you haven't had before. If headers didn't add anything but noise I don't think most all racing engines would have them installed.

It is a 2007 997.1 Carrera S and the hp gain is definitely noticeable above 3000 RPM and the exhaust note sound is even sweeter than before.

I just got a new ECU tuner and custom tune to support the mods I have. It runs rich, lumpy and loud for about 1 minute when you start it up cold. But after that and a proper warmup, it screams! My gas mileage is really suffering... can't keep my damn foot off the gas!
