Drove it to Cars and Coffee and then some wise guy had to park next to me, and open up his engine compartment...

Last weekend I finally installed Fister mufflers. I had no problems with the nuts/bolts although they had a fair amount of surface rust. However, I absolutely could not get the old mufflers out with the bumper on. I removed the bumper and the heat shields and it was so much easier. I replaced the bolts on the sleeves but not the ones on the cat flanges. Those bolts are okay for now but will need to be replaced in the near future. For anyone considering Fister mufflers it's totally worth it, I should've done it sooner.

Installed a DSC damptronic box, then took it out for a little test. Happy - sport suspension setting much softer than past. Can't wait for upcomming autox and HPDE.

It's no mistake that Dan is parked with matching stripes!

Whereas, the CGT must've backed in with their engine cover up...

Not very exciting, but today I brought my 997 to the "dent doctor". Had two dings (vs dents) that bothered me. No one would probably see them except for me, but you know how we all can be a bit fanatical about our cars. Watched the guy work his magic. He has been doing it for 25 years. Had the best tools from Germany for the job. Used some type of tool that had a magnet and used that for one of the dings. He used the glue process for the other. Did a great job.

+1 Great color combo and wheels.

Really like the tinted rear 1/2 window.

Finally fixed buzzing sound coming from driver side dash. The fix? -- adjusted the steering wheel.

Replaced the fuel door hinge. Its nice to have it stay open when getting gas. Only took 45 min start to finish.

Next up is replacing the stone guards, starter/alternator battery cable and scrapping the lowering springs for stock.

Interesting you say that. My car is originally from CA and the front side window tint had to be removed to pass my state inspection... I'm debating if I should remove the remaining tint from the quarters and rear window, re-tint the sides to a legal (very light) tint or leave it as is.

Keeping with the spirit of this thread, I recently added the factory Euro side markers.
