See #5457 above. Dropped it off at the body shop this morning. Have ankle fusion surgery tomorrow morning, so, shop has two to three months to get it done. No hurry!

Door spear. Used cutters on the back and reused my Bose sub enclosure self tapping screws with 1/4" washers. Be ****ing careful unless you are both certain of the depth of these posts AND your screws OR just go slow and double check your work, don't crack the plastic. See a dimple on that spear? Too much pressure. Most vexing is the interior silver soon-to-be-replaced not returning to home position. It's spongy feeling as well....and I thought it was buttoned up. Even all fresh door panel clips! No missing hardware and extras to spare. That interior handle though.......double check your work always and never rush.

Installed new steering wheel from RoyalWheel in England. No affiliation. Great price. Fantastic workmanship. It looks like the wheel Porsche should have installed.

Replaced the plastic windshield cowl. My car doesn't spend a lot of time outdoors, but it is a definite improvement over the original. Mine was looking more gray than black - but the main reason is that it was warping a bit and not making a seal against one area of the windshield.
A tip I learned along the way - the wiper arms come off easily once you lift the arm to the up position. Trying to get it off in the down position - not so much.
Overall it was a fairly simple job with nothing scratched or broken.

So it wasn't necessarily today, but I completed my 3-inch muffler delete tailpipe install recently. It sounds glorious. Sorry neighbors

I do my best to short-shift out of the neighborhood early mornings. They actually really like the car and I've only ever received positive feedback from anyone who's heard it in person.
Now the folks who live at the end of the street next to the main road... well they just don't have a chance
