That's a pretty expensive lesson!

Ever since that time, when I change out my wiper blades, I put a multi-folded towel on the windshield first.

I did the same thing on my BMW when washing the windshield. Grabbed the wiper blade instead of the arm. I'll never do it again.

Today it reached 60 degrees in the Boston area, with full sunshine in the afternoon. Most of the snow has melted and the roads are dry. I decided to drive about 40 miles round trip to... do nothing – just drive. (Top down all the way

Today it was 80 degrees and sunny in Tampa so I finall did my 3rd radiator install.very easy once the bumper cover is off.Carreramike's picture assay made it a breeze so thank you Mike! Cleaned my radiators and putting grill covers on tomorrow then back on the road. Next job is to rebuild left brake caliper as the damper plate is stuck in the 40mm piston just like the right one was..Again!

Over the weekend, I changed out the spark plugs, very easy.
Noticed the brackets on the PSE mufflers were cracked in 3 places, grabbed my welder and welded with 1/16" stainless steel electrode.

With a more mechanically inclined friend's help, installed Sharkwerks bypass this weekend. I've never done my own wrenching on drivetrain, so I'm pretty proud we were able to do it. Great instructions from Sharkwerks helped too! Nice little mod, adds just a little more bass/throat to the entire range but especially when you get on it. Would still a little bit more, might try gundo/fister next or else retrofit PSE.

HRE P41 19x9/19x11 arrived yesterday. Thinking we'll save these for the odd autox or hpde, but will have to decide when I get them mounted. Great deal on them, lightly used, with 80% left on re050a's for over 40% off retail. They are NB fitment tho, so will need to get spacers to fill out the Targa's wheel well.

Dealer installed free clear corners they had promised us today, but wife (it's her daily) made me proud by complaining that "it's better, but maybe they need to be smoked instead". Anybody got a source for smoked corners? Suncoast doesn't seem to have them.

Have headlight blackout rings from KI Studios & black/silver wheel crests sitting in boxes waiting for me to get to. Need to order the silver hood crest too. Those will all probably wait until I get back from europe biz trip that I leave for saturday.

That's probably it for a while, need to focus on getting a track car obtained/sorted.

Sqweak - you can try Sunset Porsche in Portland for the smoked side markers - they may have them.

Installed the Gundo hack muffler. I've been driving ithe car and it is louder than stock. Mixed feelings about it, maybe I'm just not used to the louder deep sound.

Swapped the spark plugs on a friends 997.1 and installed a fresh cabin filter. Now that we've knocked it out once doing it on my car next week should take half the time.
