Well not today, but slow to get to posting. Changed my own oil for the first time on Sunday. Good times, looking forward to the next one. Heck I feel like going to do it for fun, but that would be a waste.

Here's a pic of Race Ramps. The oil does flow out fast, gotta think of a way to prevent the initial splash, I suppose a bucket would work better. Took video of the oil coming out, but can't post directly to forum.

Checked out the rear seats of my Carrera S. It was a pretty entertaining origami exercise to fold my 6' 4" body into that space. Getting out was not elegant. I'll remember to only pick up midgets and clown hitchhikers in the future. I'm fitting my cats with crash helmets. I'm pretty sure they'll fit

Great advice that I'll take to heart... I'm 6'4" as well, and I have a nagging squeak in the back that I need to investigate.

I'm told that leaving the oil filler cap on, then removing the drain plug, helps to reduce the initial onslaught.

Pulled my EVO air filter out for a much needed cleaning. Will leave it in simple green/water bucket overnight for some soaking.

My wife and I took Moby out "just for the hell of it". We ended up just laughing out loud at how much fun this car is to drive. OK, so we're new to Porsche, but damn, they do make a fantastic car!

Replaced the original battery on the way home from work. Noticeable difference in starting the car afterwards.

USMC....

There is an outfit that will disassemble your belts and install the new color. They also have a core / trade-in program available. The only thing is I don't think the stitching looks very nice.

Installed carbon door sills today. My hands still hurt! But so worth it. Doing carbon inner door sills tomorrow to complete the look.

Took my son with me for a nice Sunday drive. All roads were super busy with holiday traffic, so went to the nearest business park where not a soul was present. Got it to a 110 for a while, came back refreshed, happy and recharged ............ so was the car.

Drove it in the rain to the local tropical fish store for a few items, a late Xmas gift swap out, and to drop off a Starbucks to the spousal unit at work! Great 3-4 hrs indeed.

Thanks Spokane. I believe it's the company out of Canada. The one concern with their solution is that they don't replace with a DOT approved label and take zero liability. So you have to just rely on their "word" that the belts will work during an accident. Could be an issue with insurance as well if something goes wrong. I may consider them still for the rear seats as I don't normally have passengers willing to go in back.
