997.2 taillight mods?
I moved from a 2007 to a 2011 C2. I couldn't be happier with the The mechanics and performance of the 997.2 other than the anemic exhaust note which I can remedy. The one design aspect that I cannot warm up to is the taillight design. I have decided that I could make them look somewhat better if I could change out the lenses to appear all red. Does anyone here share my distaste for the 997.2 taillight design, and if so, do you know of any minor changes that can be accomplished aftermarket? Thanks. John

John,
I don't share your dislike of the 997.2 stock tail light design. I like the red with white (clear) centered lenses. However, I don't care for the optional "mostly clear" tail lights. That is too much for me.

I've seen the cars with different tail lights and to be honest I don't really think the replacement tail lights add or detract from the car... It's not like it's some big or even small improvement in the looks of the cars?

The front turn signals are also clear lenses but they blink orange.

The 997.2 are starting to grow on me so I will leave them alone. Now moving on to the quadry over exhaust tips. Good to keep focused on the big things.
