Tint and the Aero is amazing. Sickest Black on Black I've seen.

Sounds like you made it work, and I'm sure the final result is flawless.

The Shop did a great job.. Never complained and got all the parts 3rd party..still installed by ordering lots of little extras.. No time to do the rear light tint and light carbon touch up..bummer

It's all installed and a real beauty.. I will post pics on my return to Ottawa..

Spectacular....but I think fragile also .. Also I'm a little concerned on water drainage due to the open air grills..

Any feedback on that would be great

Pics to follow !
I am really looking forward to seeing the pictures of your ducktail as well as I've been contemplating the exact same mod.

Where did your installer source all the missing parts and how much more did you have to pay your installer for Getty's shortcomings on the ducktail?

Hey dw.metro..Since they are affiliated with the Porsche Dealership and they own dealerships all over the place.. they got peices from all over the place.. including from a brand new Audi Q7 in inventory..

I also have an issue with the air intake grills .. they are not sturdy.. not sure how this will be fixed.. ..

in any case.. .. Im happy but now know this tail is fragile.. Ill give Mike a shout on both the water exhaust and wimpy grills.. that I may have painted matte black as well..

I also had a custom matte black badge done..

love it.. will post better pics when I get a chance

The car looks really great.

Can you be more specific regarding the missing / needed parts? Also, in what ways do you feel the wing is fragile? You mentioned "Mike", is this a MA Shaw wing or a Getty?

It really pulls your car together. Thanks for sharing.

Hey Matt... thanks
This is a Getty..
As mentioned.. there was no hardware and no pre-drilled holes for the Fan.. being fibre glass.. I think its fairly fragile.. the Air intake grills are on via adhesive..not solid enough for me. Im going to see what I can do to make them stay on permanent !

Matt,

Once again the car came out great. Any chance you could post some picture of the underside of the wing with the deck lid open?

thanks much,

Matt

I received my Getty ducktail today. I will take to get it painted tomorrow. I can't wait to have it installed but I hope there won't be complications.....
