All I got was a key chain.

Oh and he picked up a track day for me.

Now you need a plexiglas filler lid so your "assets" can be seen...!

Yes...I got mine last month but kept it in my garage so I wouldn't forget about it with my trade on the C4S I just acquired and leave it on the old car.

It is..quite solid. The OEM leash doesn't fit it but is easily removed and/or duplicated if one wants. See attached.

Just ordered one. Gunmental is available now. Here's a 10% off coupon code until the EOM: CGU110831064517. Will work for the Silver one as well but those are back ordered right now.

USMC...where you find the coupon? Dayum ordered mine 2 weeks ago and put it on my C4S this weekend when I did my racing pedals. Got the gunmetal one too as I think it blended with the Meteor Gray better than the silver one. Its a great little add on.

Default leasch

Anyone configure a leasch for this cap, like the factory one?

Here you go... I used 1/16" cable and a few cable sleeves from Home Depot. Keep the leach the same length as the original rubber leach to keep it from banging again the paint when I have it draped on the gas door hanger hook.Name: P1010939.jpg

For $160 that cap had better be made of titanium, never mind aluminum.

Its ridiculous alum-look? Yeah, you mean silver paint. I was actually surprised to find out that Porsche's aluminum looking bits in the car were not aluminum but rather paint, the same with some of the wood bits as well.

For the kind of coin these cars charge it should be real metal and real wood. Hey if VW can afford to put real metal bits on the interior of the GTI, Porsche can certainly afford to do it.

Thanks USMC...like minds must think alike. Must be that indoc at the P.I.! LOL Have the same one and up to know I've been holding it in my hand when I refuel afraid to lay it on the hood or windshield that someone will steal it. Wife works at Home Depot part time so I think a trip to the parts isle is necessary! Thanks for the pics.

Oohrah mdrobc... I pounded dirt in Pendleton. BTW, my older boy was just sworn into the NROTC (Marine Option) program last month at A&M. He'll be going to OCS next summer. Proud moment for my wife and I. She was 5 months pregnant with him when I was activated for Desert Storm One 20 yrs ago.

Nice idea for the cable--but keep in mind that they made sheathed cables of that dimension these days--may be better for protecting the paint.

Was still on OCS during Desert Storm...missed that one. Got accepted into med school and Corps released me and now am living the dream as an AF flt surgeon but thanks to you and your sons for stepping up to the plate and being counted/serving. Here's a pic of my daily rides!
