Default 997.2 C4S Alignment Specs

Just thought this might be helpful...I just had my 2009 C4S (with SPASM) aligned to Porsche RoW "Performance" specs. The car is tracked a couple times a year, so I wanted something a little more track oriented, but still good on the street.

After a bit of street driving, I can definitely tell the difference...the car feels a little better on turn-in and feels a bit more "planted".

According to the shop, the following is the list of specs from Porsche. The columns are arranged as:
- RoW/USA Standard C4/C4S/Targa
- RoW/USA PASM C4/C4S/Targa
- RoW Performance C4/C4S
- RoW/USA PASM 911 Turbo

That is a street alignment not really a true track type of alignment.

With stock PASM suspension you can get more front negative camber. You should have zero toe in front too. However these cars on the track...depending on driver, tires and the track but there is always more negative camber in front thn rear. For you car though you (like I did) will need gt3 type of lower controls arms to achieve this.

If you're just starting with DE and on street tires don't get to hung up on alignment just yet.

Completely agree...this is definitely more street oriented. It should allow for the odd track day, but be more focused on the street. I use a different car for driving events...still learning

So what should the alignment settings be for the track with stock SPASM?

TBH that alignment is not very different from stock, it's not nearly aggressive enough for my taste.

My shop was able to get -1.3 front camber with stock suspension (0 toe) and IMO it's great for an aggressive street driver.

IMO you want as much negative front camber as you can get with these cars.
