I wanted to get your opinions on buying a car that has been previously modded, but returned back to stock.

I am looking for a C2S aero and love the red! I know this car is for sale from one of the forum members but I am particulary intetested in JEllis's beautiful C2S aero https://rennlist.com/forums/997-foru...7c2s-aero.html

Jason is one of the good guys, and he had a lot of work done on his car at one of the best shops in OC. I don't think I'd be too concerned about DIY mod removals. You could always have the car checked out by a mechanic or dealer if you're concerned.

JEllis documented the un-build; If you make the trip to see it in person, I don't think you'll be disappointed. it's a very nice 997S; tho there are a few for sale it seems at this time; a buyer's market.
