Just a little annoyed
Yesterday while parked w/ my windows down, a jealous idiot pulls over besides me and says, "take your dad's car back home". Sigh.. I dunno people in this world, ignorant and can't accept people's success.
Yes I do look very young. I'm 31 asian but look like i'm 25 and worked really hard to be where I am today. Parents came to Canada very poor and worked hard to give me an education. Graduated and started my own company doing IT engineering stuff. Doing pretty decent for myself and still cannot get pass the stereotype..
Asshame how a percentage of the human race still stereotype and judge people.

Envy is all around us. Now that you have vented, ignore the incident and never look back.

Well, I think he painted you with the same brush as all the new asians who come to Canada from China with all sorts of money driving Porsches and Ferrari's in their teens! It's probably more relevant on the West coast though...

Your not alone, it is remarkable after owning my first porsche for the last 5 months, how many people tail gate me or become jealous. Ive gotten pulled over twice by cops just to verify my registration. Many people perceive these cars as a symbol of success and and wealth, therefore become jealous and exhibit ill will. I used to drive a corvette z06 prior to my 911 and people treated me as if i were driving a car for the masses, for which it generally is.
Liek others have said, enjoy the car as it outweighs the negatives of ownership.

Comments while I'm in my car don't bother me.. it's the physical damage these morons can and will do given the opportunity. For me that means very selective parking.. with many places being on the unacceptable list.

Yeah, I have had my share of Corvettes, slamed RSXs and pickup trucks zooming up behind me to tailgate but I just keep driving at the same pace and they generally get bored and back off. This type of behavior is why I am very careful about parking my car. It's funny. I really wanted a Porsche when I was young but the idea of trying to intimidate someone because they have one?
Oh well....
