Looking To Purchase A 997 - need to have a PPE done in Houston, recommendations?
So I am located in the NYC area and am looking to possibly purchase a 2006 C4S out of Houston, TX. Can anyone recommend a reputable facility out in Houston that I can have a PPI performed, DME scan, etc. (name and number would be great)?
Appreciate the assistance.

Found this info in a post from last year....can't make a personal recommendation as I have not used him but would at least be worth the call. Best of luck.
grayman a very good person for PPI in Houston is Viking Sjovall who used to run the service dept at West Houston Porsche. He has an independent shop and does many extremely thorough PPI's. He saved me about $7-8k on the purchase of my 993tt. You can contact him directly at 832-250-5995

Intersting note that a number of independent shops in Houston either are no longer (Pro Technik, Viking Motorsports) and a few I spoke with from recomendations in this thread and from doing a search stopped doing PPI's due to liability reasons.
I am reluctant to have a dealer (West Houston Porsche) do the PPI as my general experience over the years is the level of service/attention just isn't there.
Anyone have recent experience with a good independent shop in the Houston area that I can speak to?
Thanks

Also might be worth contacting the Lone Star Region of the PCA for referrals. Link to site below:

I've have several friends who have had work done there with no complaints.
