Passenger Door won't unlock/open from outside
Hi Everyone,
Have searched internet to no avail and am hoping the rennlist community can help!
Passenger Door won't unlock/open from outside but window drops down half a centimetre like it ought to. Door opens fine from the inside with two pulls???
Have checked in the PCM setup that both doors are set to open when the key fob is pressed.
Should I be resetting the alarm somehow? Presumably the motor works as the as door opens from the inside. Any help greatly appreciated.

Sounds like something is basically wrong. I have found that if the doors are locked the window(s) will not drop down at all. If the car is unlocked, either side should see the window(s) drop slightly, and then you can pull the door open. Something is very wrong.

You said it unlocks with the door pull, but how about the power lock button on the dash? Or is it only the key fob that doesn't work it? And is it just un-lock that doesn't work, or won't it lock either.

Dan's right - if it were locked, the window wouldn't move - handy to know when washing the car. 
If the window drops but the door won't open, the handle/release mechanism is not working. No idea if it is mechanical only or motor driven.

car locks and does everything it's supposed to only I can't open the passenger door from the outside when it's unlocked! I thought maybe there's a contact switch on the outside handle that might be faulty?? will update when i find out....
