I've had similar Ohlin shocks on my Audi, and I can tell you that they are THE BEST shocks you can get! Absolutely incredible built quality, and great level of adjustability.

Someone should JUMP on these! I paid $4500 for a set (with springs) for the Audi!

my heart bleeds - ohlins for $2k only... I spent $3.2K on my JRZs 3 months ago which do not have external canisters... it is a super deal.

I am SHOCKED someone hasn't picked these boys up! I sold these off my Audi S4 for $3000 (albeit with coilover springs)! These go like hot cakes on Audi forums! I guess Porsche folks are more Germanized!

Ohlins, Penske, JRZ, Moton are all Scandinavian companies so I don't think it has to do with the germanization per say.

These are really nice looking and would be perfect for me if I were keeping this car. I just sold my JRZ and these would have been a nice upgrade. OH well, GLWS!

Man, this is BEYOND baffling to me these are still around. To me they're the best shocks you can get and someone must jump on these!

The conversion to fit a 996 is roughly $250 per rear shock, bringing the cost to $3000 for the kit without springs.

Let me add this. I bought the first set and just ran Laguna Seca with the Ohlins and it was magical. Someone buy these! They are amazing! And the seller is top notch, I can say this from experience!
