The construction of my new car is finally over. The code for the order has been changed to CMPPRD which means that it has been completed and is ready to be shipped.

My salesperson says that the next news will be when the car is on the boat. After a couple of days there is a way to get the name of the vessel and then a way (using the Internet rather than the Porsche computer system) to trace its progress to Baltimore. After that, I don't know.

Can anyone tell me more about how to follow my car's progress from the factory to my dealer?

When you get the ship name you can track it's progress when close to land here.
In open water it is not possible.
