Default Door sill sticker cold inflation recommendation...

Given all OEM equipment...how many of you follow the door sill sticker for cold inflation pressure? Thanks!

No, the door sill says something ridiculous like 39/44 ; it's very confusing.

Look in the owner's manual, it has pressures for an laden/unladen vehicle, winter/summer all that.

I think most people run something like 33/39

If I'm going on a long freeway trip or carrying a bunch of stuff I'll go with the higher pressure.

39/44 is for fully loaded car. 33/39 or 34/40 are the settings for car when it is empty with full tank. If you load it fully pressure will increase by itself naturally.

Agree, use owner's manual.

Thanks all! When I took delivery in november, it was at 33/39...I suspect with original German air!...I find manual and sticker contadictory so was asking opinions. Will maintain 33-34/39-40.

I run the sticker pressures 33/39 on my Bridgestones and use TPMS to monitor that I'm staying close. Various gauges (manual) tell me that my pressures are actually higher by maybe 3 lbs each but it seems to maximize performance and treadwear. I no longer have "factory air in every tire."

I thought 36/44 was "typical"?

I too was fooled by the door sticker. I learned here on Rennlist to look closer and realized the sticker is for maximum load. I am now using 33/39psi.

33/39 for me as well. I was using the values on the sticker and wondered why the ride was so harsh. Wasn't untill I saw on rennlist that 36/44 is for full load.

My door sticker says 34/40 for normal load (2 people icon), 37/44 for max load (2 people + luggage icon). No confusion for me, I always inflate to 34/40.

I find those pressures a little high for one person in car. I use 33/39 and like it a lot. The pressure goes up anyway as the tires heat up.
