Default New Ferrari F430 falls off truck

This happened yesterday at a local car dealership:

A separate story on boston.com says the $220K car was totaled. The intermittent wipers were no doubt wiping someone's tears away ...

Oh man. Maybe they can blame it on the Toyotas next to the truck - unintended deceleration?
Car should be, fine, the engine broke the fall!!!

The pictures I saw looked like the rear portion of the ramp failed (on ground).

Not totalled, taking a hit like that is kind of like getting rear-ended at 4 or 5 miles per hour!

Not quite. The velocity after a fall from rest from a height of h feet is sqrt(2*g*h). Assuming h is 8 feet this would be 22 ft/sec at touchdown or 15 mph. Of course this may be mitigated somewhat by the fact that the front wheels have "broken" the fall.

It's good that they put the emergency flashers on. Safety first, I always say.

I thought this was a story about your new Ferrari that "fell off a truck", wink, wink - I've heard of getting TVs like, but not cars...

it`s same people who unload TVs and those cars. Cheap labor is the key. Half of MA businesses uses illegals who are provided by 'consulting' agencies for any physical work.
