Default Clear Bra

I have now taken off my third clear bra, i have had them all from accuguard , 3m and something else. I was just tired of the way it looks after about a year. it gets cloudy and the car just does not look perfect. Great day today, spent the morning with taking off the bra, pinnacle and cleaning the natural leather. Car looks new, perfect and am in love againl

I was planning to put a clear bra on my new silver C2S, however, looking at photos on several "bra" sites, I decided to not go there! Especially in silver the film changes the reflective appearance significantly so it looks like the car had a significant mismatch in paintwork. I think it works much better with non-metallic paints, imho.
Will I get chips? Yes, but I think I could get those professionally fixed for what the bra cost.
Now, if I lived and drove where the roads are sanded frequently, and there is just allot of road debris, I would definitely have a bra.

Unfortunately, the easily chipped paintwork on the vulnerable front ends of the 911 have caused many to consider the clear bras as a way to put off the damage. It's a bit of a compromise. In retrospect I would still not have put one on my car although I have plenty of chips from nearly 42,000 miles of driving over the past 3 years. Occasionally I will put a regular bra on when traveling on a long trip on the highways,--where all the junk gets kicked up by trucks and cars. I prefer the temporary look of the conventional bra to the clear look which isn't all that clear.
