Don't quite understand why the XM antenna needs to be so visible. Is't not the case on my 06 Cayenne. I do want XM in the car I select,...any difference between 08 & 09 placement...Targa, C4S etc? THanks.

Happy to report I am 100% satisfied with my old jalopy and have no desire/reason to make a change.

How bout you, Trader?

There was no factory XM option for 2008 models. For them, it must be added using Cayenne kit "hack" or aftermarket.

For 2009 models, the XM factory option first became available and antenna is visible on the car. Front of roof for Targa, rear on roof for coupes, and further rear on body for cabriolets.

Ok, ok, I am going to try it out! My other 2 labs, both gone now, used to ride in my M6 cab and one at a time in my Boxster. They loved the open air and the looks they used to get were priceless!!!

So, did you get the turbo???? I am dying to see the pics!

Default New Cab 4S

Following Trader's advice I'm turning in my beloved 06 Cab S (15,800mi) for a 09 Cab 4S ($20K off MSRP), but the production date is 11/08 it has been sitting around for close to a year at the dealer's, should I be concerned? What problems might this sitting around bring?
Thanks!

So what are the incentives to the dealers - 10K? - does it vary by model? What kind of discount on a C2 Cab with low/medium options would be realistic? Only interested in "non-popular" colors like ruby red, dark green, etc.

$10k on C2 - S

$12k on C4 -S

$15k on turbos

Plus margin is between 10-14% depending on options.

So figure 18-20% off.

End of the month, 2010s coming soon. The time to buy is Monday.

You can't get the $$ back and the 1.9% APR though.

I bought one of those for the M6 and it series specific, i.e., 6 series and it didn't fit!!! The harness would not fit the back or front. The plug in piece was larger and more square then the car's! I returned it. I think I amgoing to use their harnesses and seatbelt them in.

After Labor day for the turbo??? I wouldn't be able to sleep...congrats!

PS. I had to wait over a week for my car to be delivered.
