Gosh, what a surprise!! I guess with sales down by 50+ they decided that they may still have to deal a little.

if they would stop being so uptight they would sell more cars without having to reduce the interest.. i wanted to lease a coupe but they said no because im too young and only have 5 years of good credit under my name.. bought a cab outright and eventho i now have a cab with title in hand they still wont lease me a coupe even after i said i would pay the entire lease up front.. and i have good credit for my age with numerous CC's all paid down and nothing negative on credit.

Damn PCNA!

MJones - thanks for the great news on the lease rates. This rate is even better than the rate in Mar-May. Do you know if the cash incentives have been reinstated as well?
P.S. - i've been to PSDS as well. I hear that you are a regular there...

The buy rate IS a bit lower this time

There are NO incentives at this time.

They want to sweep the floor of MY09 cars.

The car that you could swing the best deal on IMO would be the C4S launch car,
there are alot of them around the country. Reason, they are equipped with the
Sport Bucket Seat option. 80 or so are around.

MY09 Inventory levels are something like this:
Coupes:

C2: 373
C2S: 487
C4: 22
C4S: 314
T4: 24
T4S: 53
TT: 63

Cabriolets:

C2: 363
C2S: 320
C4: 20
C4S 340
TT: 153

Do PSDS Masters !!!

It isn't going to get much better than this.

Even if you could wring a few more $$$ later on, the choices would be restrictive.

If you are in the market.... jump!

Go visit your Porsche Dealer, he is "dying" to see you!

It could be hard finding the "right" car though - inventories seemed pretty low when I was looking in May - at least in the 9 states close to me I looked at. So the price has to be worth settling for what you can find that is close to what you actually want - tricky equation.

The problem with cars on the lot is that they have kind of oddball configurations - and I'd see the exact same config at different dealers like there's some sort of order "template". And quite a few of the Green launch cars - heavily discounted so maybe most of those have moved on now...Glad to not be worrying with that anymore.

MB, who is probably in a better financial position to weather this storm is offering 1.9% leases with half of that going back to the dealer. Three percent is no great shakes. Interest rates are very low anyway.
