My thanks to John Tecce at BGB Motorsports in FL for a great price on the bumper and Carrera Mike for the pictorial on how to r & r.

Took about 2 1/2 hours including a good cleaning and a few breaks in between for a couple of beers.

Thinking about the GT2 wing variants to balance out the back end.

Sorry for the grainy pics. I'm no photographer.....

Looks sick, well done.

I did the same thing to my 2006 s cab and I love the front end. Watch the scraping of the front lip!
It's too bad you had to put the license plate on the front...

Agreed...a few tickets accrued over the years for not putting on the front plate.
Lesson learned.

It's too bad you chose to drill into the new bumper. I chose to make my holes where they couldn't be seen.

Nice job Keith looks great! OEM bumper cover, or AM?

Looks great!

Just FYI for anyone else considering this, I used the opportunity of the bumper off to install black wire mesh inside the radiator openings to capture road debris before it got stuck in the radiator. There are a variety of vendors (I used Cargraphic I think) and some people just roll (actually form-fit their own.

Good Job Keith!

Very good looking! Nice work. Did you order pre-painted?

Watch out at very high speeds - the new bumper may throw the car's balance off a bit, causing the rear to loosen up.

The bumper is the Factory Aerokit piece...not the GT3 unit, which is a little different.

Had a local body shop paint it for $250. The lower lip that comes with it is also primered. Chose not to get that painted glossy black due to the constant scraping. Instead, I simply spray painted it with flat black. Came out much better than expected.

Looks good. Looks better than the GT3 nose.

But I bet it would look even better without that lower lip. I'm sure there's a way to remove it and then with the help of a good body shop have the lower edge finished off to look like a deliberate design.
