don't worry about the "high speeds" bit, as we're talking speeds well over any legal limit in the USA

I'm with ya. I'm much more into exploring my limits with the car in and out of corners than high speed runs. Boring---anyone can point it straight and bury it.
So far, my nerves will give in far sooner than the car's capabilities. But we're workin' on that.....

There is no speed limit in the US you could drive and feel rear end get light - I completely agree.
Would add that 120 mph is pretty attainable on a track with a decent straightaway. From experience, I had put the GT3 bumper on my 2000 Boxster S, and when going that fast at the track, I totally noticed a lack of downforce over the rear wheels.

Paid $1k for the bumper. Don't think he has inventory on it though. He runs a race shop and had the complete factory aerokit hanging around. He split it up as I wasn't interested in the GT3 type rear wing....

My thanks to John Tecce at BGB Motorsports in FL for a great price on the bumper and Carrera Mike for the pictorial on how to r & r.
Took about 2 1/2 hours including a good cleaning and a few breaks in between for a couple of beers.
Thinking about the GT2 wing variants to balance out the back end.

Sorry for the grainy pics. I'm no photographer.....

We're close to taking the same route but will also add GT3 rear appendage.
In Nordic gold of course, the Chairman demands it!
Are you a hockey fan, player?
Did you ever decide on a rear wing?
cheers
Chairman Meow and Craig
did you sell all your 993 bits?
I think we "talked" many months ago about a sweet set of RS Speedlines you had FS.

Ended up buying a GT3 aftermarket wing. With over 12 inches of snow dumped on Richmond this wknd the car won't be coming out anytime soon. Will get the wing sprayed and I'll install it along with a host of other winter projects.....belt, plugs. I'm looking forward to it.
Unloaded most of the 993 leftovers including the RS Speedlines. They went to a gent up in CT building a 993RS clone.
Post pics of your 997.2----can't say I've seen one that color.
