Default Brake wear (or not.....)

I'm now at 32000 miles and still on the original set of pads and discs all round.

Is this amazing or just regular performance for a non-tracked car?

On my previous 997.1, I had 48K+ miles on it with originals all around, including multiple auto-x events. Pretty outstanding, huh?

My 996 has almost 70,000 miles and 30%+ left on orginal brakes. Has less to do with the quality of brakes than it does with how you drive.

81,000 kms original rotors and pads 50%+ left. Oh...and I track my car occasionally. Yeah, yeah...I know, Mosport only has 10 corners and I'm kinda slow, but still outstanding brake durability!

I took two 911s well past 100,00 miles without a rotor replacement. Ditto for the clutch. It's your driving that affects this stuff.
