Default How much is my CPO 05 C2S worth?

I am thinking about moving on to a new 09 and wanted to get an idea how much can I get for my car. The sticker was about 91K when I bought it new . It now has 25k. Atlas gray with Bose, adaptive seats, heated seats, painted console, changer, chrono, rear wiper, dim mirrors, thicker steering wheel, X51 headers. I had the car CPO'd last month.

Default how?

How did you as the owner get it "cpo'd?".... thought it was not possible? or did you just buy it last week CPO'd?

Curious if an owner could get their car CPO'd when it comes due, I bought my car (05) cpo till 8/2010...but may keep the car past that if I could get another dealer warranty CPO for another XXX years etc...

thanks

you are right, you can't do that without selling it and re-buying it from a P dealer.

You can buy an after market warranty of course, but thats not the same.

I remember a thread a while back where dealers were getting into big trouble for CPO-ing cars for customers. Message was that PCNA were going to invalidate any that it found.

Nice, sounds expensive though.

I agree with others that mid 40's is the range. I would think that CPO will not add too much to price, but should help it to sell faster.

Default CPO

I think is a huge plus IMO and you will see at least 1-2K premium over a car that has no warranty....given it is an 05 with a fresh CPO is great....

A couple of months ago my dealer wanted $2000 "trade difference" + the labor and repair/replace parts at full list + the PCNA registration fee to get a 'transferable CPO' on my 06. Also said that usually the highest expense item was new tires. On top of that I'd have the reregistration fees + tax on the difference. This did not make sense regardless of whether I sell it or keep it, but of course I'll cry if I blow the engine or tranny. Never got around to telling them about the mods so they might have declined anyway.

A separate issue is trying to get them to do the 100 point check before the warranty expires and then fix any warranty covered faults - I've twice asked the service manager about this (by phone) and haven't got an answer, but will get in his face in the next few months.
