If it were you? Tell me what you would do? 997.2 OPTIONS
For the 911 lovers out there, if you had the ability to buy a car form the following list, which one would you sink your teeth into?
1. A 911 C2, Silver with Black leather/ Nicely optioned.
2. A 911 C2 Meteor Gray leather? all optiosn of 1 and three even better options and only 50 bucks more a month.
3. A 911 C2S- Silver/black, optioned to the gills.
4. A 911 CAB S- Silver black, but it only lacks power seats.
I know people will say "well you need to pick if you want the CAB or C2". Well, tell me why. Why would you pick what you did.
For example, are 18's a smoother ride? If so, the base 911 has em. All have IPOD, bluetooth, Nav. Loaded up nicely.
Any draw backs to a model? Without downplaying a model, what would you spring for if the ballpark for all was in reach?
Also, on one model, there is a phone rest next to the center console. Is this removable, and does it leave holes on the side of the console?

You know what man, you are a 1000 percent right. BY the way, I know which one you would pick and why. It would be a coupe, probably Meteor Gray. With some nice options. Am I right? in a perfect world? And you'd get the tire protection to boot.

I'd go for the C2S coupe. Silver/black and well optioned, that sounds like my car, except mine is the 997.1 model. I'm a coupe guy since it shows the classic 911 lines better, plus the added rigidity.

One of the S versions. you must decide on cab or coupe. i would pick coupe, but that is a personal thing. i had a cab in houston once. that was enough for me.

You have got to drive the car for a weekend before you decide!!!!!!!!! Please, Joe! don't let the board members pick your car. Pick the car for YOU. It's your car and YOUR money. You have to be happy. Ok, so the Boxster s wasn't it. Now, you have to decide for you. If you loved a pickup, none of us could decide that for you. Get it??? Everyone means well and gives their wonderful opinions, but, at the end of the day, you have to be happy driving your car. good luck and let us know what you chose!

I think the valuable leasson I learned along the way from gettign to know these cars are they are all special to different people. I just knew in my heart that I'd figure it out sooner or later.
Guess the time finally happened. Thanks, I'll post pics of her when she's at home in the driveway.

for me, none of those - i would never buy a silver/gray car, not my style (not to knock those of you who would).
but for me, i would take the S because S > non-S (to me, more car is always better, no matter what you do with it)
If I were still in SoCal I might consider the cab. But out here on the east coast, coupe all the way.
So my choice would be 3 if those were the only 4 cars available to me.
