Default Adaptive Sport Seat Question....

Passenger side hip/upper waist bolster (button F in the manual) got pumped up too much and now won't release.

Any ideas on the cause and how to release pressure in bolster ???

If you press on the opposite site of that button it is supposed to reduce the pressure.

Of course. To no avail tho, nothing happens. Each other area on the seat reduces pressure accordingly, except the side bolsters on the passenger seat.

Got underneath the seat today and there are 3 vacuum lines attached to a small pump. The pink line runs up to the back of the seat so I'd venture a guess it's the culprit.

The bolsters are hard as rocks. Tech seems to think they are too pressurized and once the vacuum line is disconnected it will reduce pressure. There are several clips underneath that prevent me from tackling it. Tight quarters and big hands don't mix.

You might want to consider removing the seat (only 4 bolts) and giving yourself some access room.

I know this is an old thread. I just took delivery of a 2006 C2s cab and it appears to have the same problem. Did you ever get this sorted?

Mine did that 2 hours from home in the driver's seat. What a pain. Dealer had to manually deflate it and replace the mechanism.

Yeah---there are series of vacuum lines runing from a pump up into the seat. The tech disconnected one of the lines and compressed the upper side bolsters with his hands to deflate pressure. Reconnected line to the pump and haven't had a problem since.
