Porsche Bern got back to me today and told me that I had to change the 6 ignition coils at CHF 70 per coil (about the same in USD) + whatever the labour cost is running at these days.

All is well that ends well. FWIW, if your spark plugs are due for a change anytime soon, it would be a good time to do it because the labor to do them is about 70% covered in the process of doing the coil pack replacements.
