Default Color combo advice

I am ordering a 2009 997 S cabriolet. I have always liked the arctic silver/black color combo on my boxster. My wife thinks the guards red is nicer (read: less boring). If I went with the red exterior, does the two-tone black/sand beige full leather interior look okay? I think it looks good on Ferrari's in pictures but I have never seen it in person on a 997.

Thanks guys,

Muaddib

My 09 Carrera S is Guards Red and I've had it now for 5 months and absolutly LOVE IT. I have the all black interior and did the console in red to give it some sport and taste on the interior.

Other color I love on a Porsche is White with black interior.

Two tone black/sand is an excellent combo with guards red. You could also do all sand but then you would have the dashboard reflection issue if that bothers you.

Look at the interior pics in this thread. The exterior is Carrara White, but the interior is the Black/Sand Beige.

Jack,

Did you ever post pics of your interior? If you did, I guess I missed them. Sea Blue is my favorite interior color.

+1 great combo.

White/Black seems to be THE color combo on Porsche this year.

You know what? I was thinking this very thing!! I just told Chad we should start ordering cars with deviating carpet; gives it a different feel to a car that doesn't have a ton of options.

Nice touch me thinks!! Good thinking Dave!!

Yes I have the car and have over 1800 miles on it. Only mods so far is the Sharkwerks center muffler by-pass and the BBS wheels off my GT3 that Porsche bought back Can not say enough about all the good changes in the '09 Carrera S Porsche hit a home run. Options include: PDK, limited slip, Bose, NAV, Adaptive sports seats, Ipod and bluetooth and factory fire bottle

Or black and natural brown.

Remember that when you order there are a few interior bits which come black and can "spoil" the interior look, like the steering column, the rearview mirror and a few others, so some custom leather pieces can match it up.
