Viper laps Ring in 7.22
So a Viper laps the Ring in 7.22 and claims to be "King of the Ring".
For those with Autopia membership, here is a link to a few pics of it as well: http://www.autopia.org/forum/car-dri...king-ring.html Deanski |
Sorry, I just added the pics for those that cannot view Autopia.

Was this a from the factory as is stock Viper? Or did they have slicks and race suspension and so forth on this car?
|
This is an old story. The Viper ran that time in August.

It is stock. The suspension are adjustable and they used stock Michelin Sport Cup tires for the run. They didn't replace any stock parts. The Viper became officially the fastest production car around the ring. Very impressive.

Your telling me that picnic table on the back is stock?

While I am not a fan of the bailout, I do like the michigan license plate.
It would be better if it had a bumper sticker on it that said "My other car is a 300..." |
And the ACR can be had for about $100k, maybe a bit less depending on the dealer. I'd consider one if they made it in a drop-top version but if so it probably would not be as fast.

? And this relates to the 997 how ?
I'm thinking - so what? Go post it at a Viper board. |
