Across America Day2
769 mi Today from Grants, NM to Claremore, OK.
A day filled with lots of wind, a thundershower and flying tumbleweeds and leaves.
As far as speeds go I pretty much stick to the speed limit after getting my ticket last year, you can't be fooling around with LIDAR out there.
Love my Nav it gets me thru unfamiliar city's with ease.
A couple of pics for you and a video...

Brian what was the fastest you drove during that stretch? I'm trying to figure out how you get such great gas mileage. Thanks for the pics. Have a safe trip.

Don't you love the 997 in the rain?? The self speed-adjusting wipers are great!
You're wise to watch the speeds out there. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol are thick on I40. You should take a side excursion into Eureka Springs as you enter Arkansas.
Good luck!!

Averaging 70 mph and 31 mpg in a track/road car: Impressive, Porsche engineering at work! Your GT3 is fanastic! Better save that evidence for the day when our Gov't seeks to limit 'wasteful' sporting cars ;-)
