I think the GT2 seats are great if you're planning on doing a lot of track time with the car. As a daily driver seat, I'm not sure they're a good way to go.
That being said, spend about the same amount of money and get a paint to sample....hint hint Johnny!

If you're not going to track your car a lot, I say get the paint.

The sport seats are already awesome and you can't get the CF buckets with heated seats.

Spend $1000 more and get a TRUE paint to sample. Forget the seats unless you really need to shed the weight,--or go ingest a tape worm...

Get the GT2 seats... Consider how much Euro GT3 seats cost after the fact. I am CERTAIN the GT2 seats will be over $5K each to retrofit.

Or a 3rd option...get the seatbacks in leather. It was a $1610 option for the adaptive sport seats when I ordered my car last year. I wouldn't do it for a track car, but it's a nice touch in a street car.

They save 83.5 lbs? That's a no-brainer if you're desperate for fancy seats.

I assume that if you don't get the sport buckets you will get the standard seats (non-powered)? Otherwise, the seats are going to cost you either way.

Wow! Inflation is everywhere! Even here... as the price for the seats listed in the poll went up $400 over night! But the P-car online car builder lists, "$3485"

Gremlins.

That's why I said get the seats! Imagine what they'll cost a year from now when you decide you want to add them...

C2S w/ a stick, GT2 seats, PCCB's, PASM sport suspension, standard paint, iPod plug and bluetooth... no chrono, no bose, etc. Just trying to get as much weight off the car as possible, sprung and unsprung. The turbo has so much torque that I don't think that I would worry much about weight if I were spec'ing one. "Arnold", my Cayenne turbo S, doesn't care how much weight he has to push down the road. Turbos are omnipotent.
