I think the GT2 seats are great if you're planning on doing a lot of track time with the car. As a daily driver seat, I'm not sure they're a good way to go.
That being said, spend about the same amount of money and get a paint to sample....hint hint Johnny!

Or a 3rd option...get the seatbacks in leather. It was a $1610 option for the adaptive sport seats when I ordered my car last year. I wouldn't do it for a track car, but it's a nice touch in a street car.

They save 83.5 lbs? That's a no-brainer if you're desperate for fancy seats.

Wow! Inflation is everywhere! Even here... as the price for the seats listed in the poll went up $400 over night! But the P-car online car builder lists, "$3485"

So Johnny,....what ya building? Turbo? C4S PDK?

C2S w/ a stick, GT2 seats, PCCB's, PASM sport suspension, standard paint, iPod plug and bluetooth... no chrono, no bose, etc. Just trying to get as much weight off the car as possible, sprung and unsprung. The turbo has so much torque that I don't think that I would worry much about weight if I were spec'ing one. "Arnold", my Cayenne turbo S, doesn't care how much weight he has to push down the road. Turbos are omnipotent.
