Default 2009 for close to invoice?

I have heard a few members mentioning picking up a 2009 for 2K over invoice?
Are there any opportunities like this in the Western PA, Ohio area?

ditto in the Houston area, Texas state, wider Southeast...although I suspect that is just rather wishful thinking.

I may buy a C4 or C4S sometime in 09 if you can actually get one close to invoice. I'll have to wait and see how much money hemorrhages from my accounts from this market first.

Houston dealers leave a bit to be desired. North is much better but pricing as of last year anyway still wasn't very competitive. Call Chris, he got my wife into a Cayenne S for a good price which more than makes up for the shipping and out of town hassle factor.

I live in Houston, and I just placed an order with Chris. Our price negotiation lasted...how long was it Chris? 4 seconds?

I won't even walk into a local dealer. I suppose if it had to be local I would drive to Austin, as I've seen some positive feedback for Beasley.

Chris, my mom was in Cleveland a few weeks ago and was staying nearby your store. She went in to take a look and said that the store was very nice and the guy and the parts counter was very nice despite only buying a couple of lapel pins.

It was only after she returned home that she mentioned it was Porsche of North Olmstead.

The Dow will drop below 8000 today, over the next few days/week - trillions of dollars in credit default swaps have to settle, more banks will fail, and the US is about to elect a neo-stalinist President. And you are asking whether prices on a completely non-essential item might soften over that time period?

This is Rennlist, not Drudge Report.

Sorry NYCA - seems you're a broker or similar. Demand for high end goods is lagging as the market hacks up this loogie that irresponsible bankers created for all of us.

I suspect these prices are realistic, although Porsche has announced it will cut back production to keep value high.
