Default Quote from Top Gun: "You figured it out yet?"

Well, I am now beginning to figure it out

During the break-in period (up until last Sunday), I was keeping the rpms under 4200 and trying to find the correct gear to accelerate out of the curves with........................

I was talking with a friend (996 owner) and telling him I felt I was pushing the car pretty good. He responded with, "Wait til we get you on the track. That is when we will see how you are pushing it or not."

I just got back from a short run and was able to run into some curves at around 4K rpms and accelerate out at 6K plus

I have now moved to a higher level of feeling like I am pushing the car.

Lesson learned: I will continue move up a level at a time continuing to feel I am pushing the car even further, as long as the tires continue to hold.

Best adrenaline rush so far was just an hour ago.......I want more, I tell you, MORE!!!

Another quote from Top Gun, "OK, Maverick, do some of your pilot sh_t."

Hey loony2n,

Let me know when you want to get together, maybe a coffee shop in Wax, or Ballentyne.

And this is only the beginning! I am with your friend - wait until you get the car on the track!

So have you scheduled a DE event yet?????

Beautiful car - enjoy it.
