Shop your insurance around!
Little back story. I was with a particular insurance company for years, then shopped them around, found a much better deal and spent 5+ years with the new company, then checked back with the original company, they were better priced, so I have been with them for two years.
Well, I just moved from CA to CO, my insurance prem more than double, close to triple, ugh! The C4S went from 700yr to 1700yr(when I heard it, I threw up in my mouth!)
I went online back to company number 2 that I spent 5 years with and thanks to the sports car Gods of the universe, they came back with even a better quote then what they could do in CA. 580/yr.
Both big name and excellent rated companies.
Every now and then just go online and run some insurance quotes
I know, quit my all the rates I mentioned are cheap, but it is all reletive

Don't really want to advertise for anyone Gecko.
coverage: liability, comphr/collision.
To my understanding it is good to shop every two years or so. Your company may go up just due to payouts in your area, not your driving and having good credit helps
