My New 997 Spy Picks outside the Factory
Hey All,
On business in Germany. Just finished the factory tour couple hours ago---Its a must do! Even thought I am a new 997 owner (3 weeks) I appreciate the car even more now that I realize its hand built, only 30 a day of all versions of 911s. Lots of Porsches buzzing around, I will post some interesting colors that I took pics of later. But check out these photos of the new model I got. Sorry for the blurry pics but they went by quickly! The beige was not my favorite (Looked like the German Taxi color). It was a Carrera. I noticed new wheels and check out those LED lights. The S cab looked similar inside, maybe some changes to the PCM. It sounded different than my S even with the normal exhaust. Maybe there are some engine changes. Ok off to get a Beer! Enjoy!

No he's not. I find his user name to be extremely confusing as well. So, "flyingfinn", since we have had a well-known member named "flying finn" for a long time, is there any chance you might consider altering your user name a bit? Just a suggestion.

I don't see how you could have known, I am sure it was unintentional. You can contact John D or post in the help section to get it adjusted. It is a great name, but it is so close to the other Flying Finn that it is confusing. Thanks.

The shot of the blue car seems to show a red stripe under that white paper, but I cannot understand the painting of the lower lip of the tail lights at all. Makes no sense. But we'll see soon I guess.

Did you get to see the new PDK transmission...sequential dual clutch paddle shifter???!!!! I like the new wheels but the LED rear lights look a little strange in shape.

Sorry didnt see any paddle shifters. The blue one I got close to was a manual.
A quick look inside appeared the same as my 997 except maybe a change to the PCM?
