Default 1st Detail

Well my baby got her 1st detail yesterday. Bryan did an outstanding job. I highly recommend him to anyone in the ATL area.

You can see some more details here:

What a difference, I could not believe it.

It's not mentioned in the write up, but my car is new and had only been washed by the dealer prior to this detail. Just shows you how easily the paint gets scratched up and etched.

I had my car looking sweet last summer. It had a small chip on the hood so I took it to get it repaired. The collision shop totally destroyed my paint.

Back at it with the Menzerna in a couple weeks.

See, now there is someone who has skill and talent to make this Porsche look the way it should look when being delivered than hacked, glazed and waxed.

This shows clearly how to properly resolve what most of us see in ownership. A very soft paint that can get marring just by breathing on it.

The whole process is in prep and evaluation in which this detailer did. He took his time, masked off the areas, evaluated the finish and proceeded to follow through with polishes to remove all defects prior to a sealant.

If I was an owner in this area, run don't walk to have this detailer correct your finish! There are not too many that have the skill level to do this and do it correctly.

Following all polishing with Zaino just made it look stunning. The Zaino amount and types may be a bit much for those of us who do not do detailing on a regular basis. There is another alternative as well. The new Zaino Z-AIO and Zaino Clear Seal can have just about the same effect and to most untrained eyes look exactly alike. This is what scares most new Zaino users is the "mixing" layering etc as most people just use a paste wax and see no need to fuss with all this.

I too still use Z5-Pro/Z2-Pro and ZFX as well. However, for the weekend warrior, after washing, clay and polish, using Z-AIO followed by Z-CS is a quick way to this effect. Once cured, follow witha wipe of Z8 and your good.

I'm glad to see there is someone out there that can do the work and do it well.

Enjoy your stunning ride!

Regards,
Deanski

Wow, that had to be a $3-400.00 detail at least. I didn't know there is a device to measure the thickness of the paint, pretty impressive.

Man.........like a science lab. Paint thickness measuring, Presta 1500/Blue edge light cut wool pad/Flex 3403 1500 Ultrafina/3M blue 8" pad/Flex 3403 at 1700, 3x of 80% Z5pro/20% Z2pro and 4 drops of ZFX.

And I thought I had a strong program in place. Back to the drawing board......
