bought a britax boulevard for my cab
has anyone been able to safely and securley fasten it to the back seat of their cab?
instructions would be great...i tried but it seems way way too loose to be safe thanks! |
I have a cab and 3 year old twin boys, and use booster seats. Since there is nothing to secure the seats to in a cab, the only hay to use the boosters is to use the seat belts. I had my shop guys look for a way to install an anchor hook, but there was not place to put it, and the boosters that will fit in the cab do not have a latch system, some installing anchors in the bottom seat of the cab wont work.

I assume you are using the seatbelt? Did you use the little metal clip that holds the waistbelt and shoulder belt tight together?
I use a booster in my 911 so no seatbelt but in my old BMW that's how I held in the carseat. |

When fixing it, make sure you press hard against the car seat with your knee or something like that while tightening the belt. Pulling the belt all the way out and then retracting it puts it into locking mode. After you have it tight enough, the Boulevard has a locking latch that secures the belt. With enough work, you should have very little wiggle in the seat. Even though I've gotten the Boulevard to work for me, I'm considering other options as this barely leaves any movement room for my daughter's legs. |
i have 2and a half son and i use the porsche zoom seat in back behind passenger seat secured by seat belt. very sturdy even my neurotic wife trusts it.
