Oh yeah, that's me to a T

In all seriousness, the car was at the track with 250 miles on the odo, and at least half those miles are track miles. I actually do like driving it on the street and I'm looking forward to putting the interior back to stock so I can use the car as a daily driver (at least before 48 months elapses!), and then having a different car for the track.

Apologies for the threadjack, bmc. Your car looks terrific; I really like the way OEM 18s look on the 997.

Tim, Phil escapes to the 997 forum to hide from you and you still follow to rag on him?!?!

Not that I'm defending his Rip van Winkle C4S, but still, I like to limit his beatings to the 996 forum.

I know, I know.... we should keep it in the "family" but.......... you have to agree with me that he offered that one up on a silver platter and it was much too tempting to ignore!

Yeah, I know - as usual, he was asking for it. I was shocked to see you guys in here, but I figured that Phil was checking out the prospects of buying a 997 so that he could stick that into his garage and not drive it.
